June 7, 2022 - COE Press Equipment, Sterling Heights, Michigan, has recently shipped an 18 in. coil processing line to Variety Die & Stamping, Dexter, Michigan, a manufacturer of precision stampings and assemblies for the automotive and lawn & garden industries.
The coil processing line is comprised of a Series 1 servo roll feed, a Series 250 18 in. power straightener, and 18 in. by 12 ft. threading table and an 18 in. coil reel with 10,000 lb. capacity. It is designed to process mild steel coils up to 18 in. wide and 50,000 PSI yield. It can handle material thicknesses from 0.020 in. to 0.156 in., depending on the material width and achieve a roll speed of 392 feet/minute with a feed accuracy of +/- 0.003 in.
The system features the SyncMaster Touch integrated controller, which allows operators to manage both the feed and straightener functions, setups and diagnostic reviews from a single, user-friendly touchscreen. SyncMaster delivers high functionality typically only associated with full custom systems.
