August 11, 2022- Century Aluminum Co. has appointed Gerald “Jerry” Bialek as its new executive vice president and chief financial officer. Bialek was most recently CFO, vice president and treasurer at Cooper Tire & Rubber Co. Before joining Cooper Tire in 2014, Bialek spent 25 years in increasingly responsible positions at Ford Motor Co., Amcor Rigid Plastics and Johnson Controls.
