Leeco Steel, the largest supplier of steel plate in North America, announces the promotions of Jillian Mowat to Warehouse Supervisor and Lukus Smith to Processing Coordinator/Lead. Ms. Mowat and Mr. Smith are based in Leeco’s Hamilton, ON distribution center.

In her new role, Ms. Mowat will oversee day-to-day warehouse operations and manage the facility’s operations team. Mr. Smith will oversee steel plate processing efforts in his new role.

“Jillian and Lukus have been vital in streamlining operations in the warehouse and making our team more efficient,” said Chad Schuh, Vice President of Operations at Leeco Steel. “As Jillian and Lukus take over their new leadership roles, we are excited to see how they continue helping our Hamilton warehouse grow and identify ways to further improve our operations.”

Ms. Mowat joined Leeco in 2022 as a Shipping and Receiving Coordinator at the company’s Hamilton, ON distribution center. Mr. Smith joined Leeco’s Hamilton, ON operations team in 2021 and was promoted to Warehouse Lead in 2022. Leeco began selling steel plate in Canada in 2014 and expanded to its own facility in 2020.
