Leeco Steel, the largest supplier of steel plate in North America, announces the promotions of Will Cuadrado to Plant Manager – Joshua, effective March 2, 2026, Michael Graham to Quality and Safety Technician, effective March 9, 2026, David Dooley to Processing Technician, effective March 30, 2026, Vince Cruz to Processing Technician, effective March 30, 2026 and Jose Batista to Plant Manager – Houston, effective April 13, 2026.

These promotions underscore Leeco’s continued investment in expanding its plate processing capabilities across North America.

Mr. Cuadrado began his career with Leeco Steel in 2023 as a warehouse employee at Leeco’s Portage, IN plant. In June 2025, he relocated and advanced to a 2nd shift warehouse position at Leeco’s Joshua, TX plant, a role he has served most recently.

"Will’s growth with Leeco has been exceptional and well earned,” said Andy Polka, Director of Operations. “From his early days in our warehouse operations to taking on increasing leadership responsibility at our Joshua facility, Will has consistently demonstrated the commitment to excellence that define strong leadership.”

Mr. Graham joined Leeco’s Chattanooga warehouse team in December 2024. Since then, he has proven to be a reliable and knowledgeable member of Leeco’s operations team, making him the ideal fit for this new role.

“As our processing operations in Chattanooga continue to expand, it’s critical that we reinforce our commitment to safety and quality,” said Jill Laumann, Safety Manager. “This new position is an important step for our Chattanooga team, and Michael’s dedication to safety and quality will help ensure we continue to grow responsibly.”

Mr. Dooley joined Leeco’s warehouse team in June 2024. He has since learned to operate a number of advanced processing machines, enabling the facility to grow its processed plate part services. While seated in Chattanooga, his promotion will provide critical technical support to machine operators at Leeco’s Chattanooga, Hamilton and Ambridge facilities.

Mr. Cruz joined Leeco’s Portage team in November 2023. In June 2025, he relocated to Leeco’s Oshkosh plant as a member of the 2nd shift team. While located in Oshkosh, his promotion will focus his expertise on Leeco’s processing capabilities at Oshkosh, Brandon and Portage facilities.

"David and Vince have built strong technical foundations in our plate processing operations and consistently shown the capability to support advanced processing across facilities,” said Ryan Lang, Director of Advanced Processing. “Their promotions strengthen our technical support as we continue to expand these services.”

[Jose Batista, Plant Manager - Houston]

Mr. Batista began his career as a crane operator at Leeco’s Tampa, FL facility in 2014. In 2017, he relocated to Houston and took on a burn operator role, which later earned him his promotion to Lead Warehouse in 2018. In April 2024, Mr. Batista served as a Safety Technician, which he has served most recently.

“Jose’s promotion reflects his deep understanding of our Houston operations and his long‑standing commitment to safety, teamwork and operational excellence,” said Andy Polka, Director of Operations. “His progression through multiple roles has prepared him well to lead the Houston plant.”

As customer demand grows for high-quality, value-added processing services, Leeco is strengthening its leadership and technical teams to support increasingly complex operations. Advancing experienced employees into these roles ensures the company is well positioned to deliver quality, safety and service as its processing offerings continue to expand.
