Leeco Steel, the largest supplier of steel plate in North America, announces the promotion of Andy Polka to Vice President of Operations and appointment to Leeco’s executive management team, effective June 1, 2026.
“Andy’s deep expertise in operational leadership and his commitment to lean manufacturing will play a vital role in advancing Leeco’s next stage of growth,” said Denton Nordhues, Leeco’s President and CEO. "His unique blend of industry, Leeco business and operational knowledge has been instrumental in aligning and evolving our production processes."
Mr. Polka began his career with Leeco in September 2011 as a Sales Representative at the Oshkosh sales office. Demonstrating exceptional leadership and expertise, he advanced through a series of sales management positions at Leeco’s Houston and Fort Worth locations. In July 2023, Mr. Polka transitioned to Leeco’s headquarters in Lisle, IL, where he was appointed Director of Processing. Most recently, he served as Director of Operations, further solidifying his reputation as a dynamic and results-driven leader within the organization.
