October, 2025- Located in Arlington, Texas, the National Medal of Honor Museum opened in March 2025. The 102,000-square-foot building, designed by Rafael Viñoly Architects, features an anodized aluminum paneled 200-square-foot box. The structure houses the museum’s exhibitions. A Rotunda of Honor, a sunken open-air courtyard sheltered by the exhibition spaces above and open to the sky through an oculus, functions as a central gathering point. A Ring of Valor is inscribed with the names of every Medal of Honor recipient and hangs above the circular lobby.
