Tosyali Iron and Steel Industry Algerie SPA has awarded to GLOBUS SRL a contract for the supply of a Coil Coating Line to be installed in the new production facility for steel flat products which is currently under construction in Oran, Algeria.
The line, designed for a maximum speed of 210 m/min, will be the fastest Coating Line for steel coils in the world.
The installation will include a tension leveling section and will be equipped with state-of-the-art process control functions, including closed-loop coating thickness control.
This marks the third contract awarded to GLOBUS by Tosyalı within the past decade, following the previous ones for the Coil Coating Line and for the Tension Leveling Section successfully installed in the Osmaniye plant.
