Red Bud Industries, announces the successful installation and operation of their Light Gauge Slitting Line at AZZ Precoat Metals’ Granite City, Illinois, location.
The new Slitting Line features Red Bud Industries state-of-the-art Semi-Automatic Slitting Head, which allows for quick set up between orders. The line has the ability to process Cold Rolled, Prepaint, and Galvanized materials ranging from .010” (.25 mm) to .030” (.75 mm) in thickness with a maximum speed of 500 FPM (152 m/min). The low passline, compact, surface mounted design also eliminates the need for costly foundation work, a key factor in AZZ Precoat Metals' decision to choose Red Bud Industries.
