The Fabricators and Manufacturers Association (FMA) has announced winners of the 2024 Safety Awards, naming six O’Neal Manufacturing Services facilities as recipients. The FMA/CNA Annual Safety Awards recognize metal fabrication companies that adhere to excellence in safety. Sponsored by CNA, the endorsed business insurance carrier for FMA, the Awards are designed to promote safety in the industry, and winners are selected by the FMA Safety Council.

O’Neal Manufacturing Services – Houston, TX was selected to receive the 2024 Safety Award of Honor. This award is given to companies having perfect safety records—no recordable injuries or illnesses for the calendar year 2023.

O’Neal Manufacturing Services – Cedar Falls, IA; Greensboro, NC; Indianapolis, IN; Louisville, KY; and Pittsburgh, PA were selected to receive the 2024 Safety Award of Merit. “I am extremely proud of our company’s commitment to safety excellence. The culture of safety among our team members is a key component of our business operations and success,” commented Clark Wood, O’Neal Manufacturing Services’ Director of Safety.

To be eligible to receive recognition, companies were required to submit OSHA Form 300A, Summary of Work-Related Injuries and Illnesses, for the period Jan. 1, 2023, through Dec. 31, 2023. Firms of all sizes were eligible. Winners were selected based on North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code categories and BLS injury and illness incidence rates.
