Kalamazoo Machine Tool is highlighting the H 650 bandsaw, a semiautomatic cutting solution designed for shops processing tubes, pipes, beams, profiles and solid steel. With its large work area and rigid double-column construction, the H 650 brings controlled straight cutting to a wide range of fabrication applications.
Using a 1.50” blade the H 650 accommodates round material up to approximately 20 inches, square material up to 18.9 inches, and rectangular sections up to 25.6 by 17.7 inches. Its welded steel sawframe and adjustable hydraulic downfeed help maintain steady blade engagement while reducing vibration.
A 6-degree cant helps reduce blade loading when cutting structural shapes. Hydraulic clamping holds material securely, while a mechanical material detector enables rapid sawframe approach before transitioning to the selected cutting feed rate.
A mobile control console gives operators convenient access to machine functions.
Optional equipment includes bundle clamping, a laser cutting-line indicator and materialhandling roller tables, allowing shops to configure the machine around their workflow.
